Editorial Methodology
Our recommendations start with the buyer and workflow, then narrow the software market.
Product selection
Products enter consideration because they are relevant to the use case, have meaningful market presence, or solve a workflow that the target buyer actually has. Affiliate relationships are not a prerequisite.
Evidence hierarchy
We prefer vendor documentation, current pricing pages, product documentation, and direct product information for factual claims. Third-party sources can help identify issues or buyer experiences but are not treated as authoritative for plan limits or pricing.
Pricing checks
Pricing pages record a verification date and distinguish base subscription charges from variable usage, onboarding, add-ons, and optional services where those costs are material.
Recommendation logic
Recommendations are contextual. We state who a product fits, who may be better served elsewhere, and what tradeoff drives that conclusion.
Updates
High-value pricing, review, comparison, and integration pages should be rechecked when vendors announce material changes or when Search Console data indicates a page is becoming important to readers.
